Video Recording Tips and Ideas

Okay so you got a nice home and a nice TV in it, now you will need to know how to record video. There are two things meant by video recording, one is the literal recording of videos using a camera for example, this is not what we will be talking abut here because that is best left to a camera site, but there is also the video recording where a tv show comes on and you want to save it for later. So you have to record it. Now that is something  we can talk about, how do you do it? IN the past it was very complicated people used to have VHS players, video tape players and they used to buy blank tapes, and then when the show came on that they liked, they had to press a hwhole bunch of buttons and start recording, then hope that it was enough and they didn't miss anything. Many times, quiet frustratingly the recording would turn out to be we... not recorded and that can be infuriating to the owner. Sometimes the recording was recorded but the quality was so bad it may have well not been done. That was in the past and even I remember having to have to deal with this but now times are changed, its 2015, and everythign is digital. How do people go about video reocrding today? Well its simple. For many many TVs its a built in feature, that is to say the TV itself has a harddrive that if you choose to record something, all you really have to do is press the record button and it wills tart recording thigns from that mark, and stop when you press stop. Or sometimes press record again, acts as the same function of the stop button on the remote. The TV will then process the recorded line of data and save it up in your hard drive for later viewing, this is so utterly convenient, that we recommend absolutely everyone who visits this blog ot look for this feature in a potential TV that they are going to be purchasing.

However not every TV has a recording aspect to it some TVs cannot record and this is where it gets a little tricky. Ideally we would like you to seel such a crap and outdated TV and buy a new one that does have this feature, after all taht is the point of technology, to increase comfort. But if you do not have the budget it is understandable and their are other work arounds around it. One of them is to get a dvd or cd player that will record the video for you instead of the TV, many dvd players have the exact same feature. The downside is you will need to buy empty DVDs and many times the program can be larger than what fits on a DVD because of the high resoilution streaming that shows put out now. So you will need to spend decent money on a very large DVD disk space. And then you can hook up the dvd player to the TV via HDMI or aux or something and then when your show comes on in the same fashion as before, just press the record button put the DVD in and voila, its done.

An eveb better alternative recently came out, that is a dedicated hard drive recorded. Just like the DVD polayer this thing is meant for recording. All you do is plug it in via HDMI and it will record everything and anything you press the record button to. The positive thing about this is that you dont need DVDs and that is such a lifesaver since everything now days is on hard drive and it is counter active to try to stick to DVDs that is why rwe recommedn this option far more than the DVD player if you are jsut looking to record stuff. It is also slightly cheaper because it only had one purpose unlike the full on dvd player.
